CALENDAR GUIDELINES

"What’s Happening" is all about what’s happening in the Methow Valley and occasionally slightly on either side of it. To get in, call 997-7011 or e-mail sue@methowvalleynews.com or fill out the "What’s Happening" form at the newspaper office at 101 North Glover Street in Twisp. Deadline is 5 p.m. on Fridays to get into the following Wednesday issue. The paper appears on Wednesdays, and the deadline is the Friday before it. Only submissions that have the title of the event, a brief description of the event, the date, the time, the place, the cost and the contact phone number, and that get here before the deadline, will be considered for the "What’s Happening" page. Preference for space in the "What’s Happening" page is given to events that are free, or sponsored by non-profit organizations, or unique (meaning it happens only once), or, if space allows, earth-shatteringly and wildly entertaining, educational or fun – the latter to be determined solely at the whim discretion of the "What’s Happening" editor.

Click HERE to E-mail your event to the News office!
Deadline for calendar items is Friday at 5pm.
