Looking for action

A group of eight young bicycle riders came through the Methow last week on their way to Washington, D.C., to speak with legislators about energy. The trans-nation contingent of The Trek to Re-Energize America, which started from Seattle May 18, will converge with other riders from around the country July 26 in the nation’s capital and meet with lawmakers the next day. On the way, riders are talking to people about energy and climate change. Follow their progress at trektoreenergize.org.
