Bound for the river

The Methow Valley Irrigation District’s renovation project, at its diversion near the Methow State Airport, is on schedule and readying for a concrete pour nine feet below the riverbed. These 36-inch pipes will connect new fish-friendly infrastructures at either end of the intake canal, helping improve conditions for fish, restore natural river processes and provide easier maintenance and more efficient irrigation for farmers and ranchers.
